Such a surprising move. I really thought they'd get that 'conference only' season in there, because that made so much sense.

Is he wrong? It's too bad you don't get a vote in our November election, you could vote for Joe Biden and maybe the boogeyman that haunts you will go away. Hey, if Biden gets elected President, I'm sure a lot more "normalcy" will return magically to our lives. If Trump gets re-elected, I'm picturing at least 2-3 more years of this bullshit fear storyline.

By producing the strongest economy in US history? Or not getting us involved in any foreign wars? And before you respond with something along the lines of "there's more to being President than that", let me just say that that's all I really want in a President. Keep the economy in good shape and keep us out of wars. Trump was doing both of those things.

I suppose if you were already rich you did benefit from unnecessary tax cuts.

But I'm not happy with him denying the Coronavirus, refusing to wear a mask, not having any national pandemic response, and being slow to respond to the threat.

Fair enough argument, though that's not really what I was talking about when I was praising him. Truthfully, I think Trump's response to the virus hasn't been that bad. This thing was gonna hit us, and it was gonna hit us hard, regardless of who the President was. And nothing Trump has done has been anywhere near as awful as Andrew Cuomo sending sick people back to nursing homes, which led to the worst of the death totals that we have seen. Both in New York and New Jersey.

It's gone up by about $4 trillion.

As Carl correctly presumed, I'm referring to the national debt. The "greatest economy ever" propt up by huge government spending. Clinton's economy was better, and he did that with balancing the budget.

Unfortunately, after Clinton we got stuck with 16(!) years of Bush/Obama, two of the worst Presidents in our history. Trump hasn't helped the debt problem, but he didn't start it either.

Both in New York and New Jersey. I disagree. I'm not defending Andrew Cuomo. But Trump should have listened to the medical professionals, stocked up on PPE, ventilators, and hand sanitizer. He should have shut the country down. And promoted self isolation, social distancing and wearing masks. He's supposed to be a leader. Promoting helpful advice and being a good example. He's done the exact opposite.

Went down 26% for Bush II. It has gone up 34% for Trump. 34% is not better than 150% or 200%. If you look, Jimmy Carter is the only Democrat president who had it go down, and it went down 1%. It went down 80% for Hoover, 28% for Nixon, and the aforementioned 26% for Bush II. The stock market saw huge growth with FDR, LBJ, JFK, Clinton and Obama.
