Yeah. It worked in the first one but it got repetitive after a while. However I do think Killian from 3 is a step up since he had way more to do in that movie than Justin Hammer in this. And he was a more serious character. Hammer was "clownish". ![](https://i.imgur.com/2h73RFh.gif)

That scene where he comes on stage dancing and Pepper just rolls her eyes. Killian was a step up only in that he was if Tony went down the wrong path after he became Iron Man. Hammer is what would happen to Tony if he had nothing that made him Stark besides money. Hammer is a try hard. lol

1 was my favorite. Never cared for the Iron Man sequels.

The original Iron Man is much better imo, though I haven’t seen either in so long (probably at least 7-8 years).
That being said, Iron Man 2 is a really good time and I could almost see myself having more fun watching it as opposed to the first even though it’s not the superior movie overall.

The second part of it could have been better and more epic. The first part is pure, pure, pure perfection.

It is hilarious how cringe inducing his attempts to be Tony is though, Sam Rockwell was doing some good work being a buffoon I will give them that.

I think he's just a business man. He had others build all that tech for him. He's an incompetent version of Obediah trying to be Stark. Even when he was showing those weapons to Rhodey it was like he grabbed a bunch of random guns and brought them to him.

Strong disagree, but to each their own. I like the ideas about a fall from grace plot with Stark if that were the main focus. We don’t really explore much into it though. Also they kind of waste Whiplash in favour of another businessman villain after Obidiah (albeit one played by Sam Rockwell in a fun way). However in spite of being my least favourite, the movie isn’t really that bad and there is enjoyment to be had. Some of the action is fine, the acting is really good, and I like the scene where Tony watches Howard’s video recording. Also, it introduced us to ScarJo as BW. Can’t go wrong with that. All 3 main Iron Man villains were "what if" versions of Stark. Wow. I never realised that but you're completely right.

Iron Man 3 is the best Iron Man movie, best MCU and probably best comic book movie in my opinion.

The original was the best for me. Brilliant movie. Too bad the first part was better than the second part, the second part was missing something. That said, it's a brilliant movie.

Agreed. The two villains were excellent, alone and together.
Iron Man 3 totally dropped the ball. It’s worse than Robocop 3 and Superman III.
