Just watched this one again for the first time in years. It's probably one of the silliest movies ever made, but it's still fun as hell. I wish Zemeckis had done more movies like this.

Good performances, good visual effects and memorable score aside, it is just a middle of the road dark comedy.
It is more interested in visual effects than it is in telling a good story imo. The first half is silly fun, the second is just dumb.

The first half mostly works, but the second half is just dumb. Yeah, it kind of becomes akin to a macabre SNL sketch in its second half.

Not the greatest movie but sure fun and it's a childhood favorite of mine.

I think the joke wears out it's welcome around the middle of the film. I find it to be a frustrating movie, because the first half has some great dark humor. The second half goes on autopilot imo. I think it is worth watching for the acting, the visual effects and the style. Bruce Willis is genuinely hilarious in the movie. 6/10

For some reason i loved this as a kid. Watched it again for the first time in decades and...the slight body horror kind of creeps me out now. Weird. Its still a goofy dark comedy but Goldie Hawns eyes creep me right out.

I LOVE this film.
It's a quirky, unique film that's charming and special.
The comedy and the things that occur are HILARIOUS AF. At the same time, it's thought-provoking when it comes to the morals.

It does lose steam when "Mad" and "Hell" join forces. Still, it is one of the funniest movies I've seen.

I enjoyed it but I've never been tempted to watch it again in all the years since its original release.

Great dark comedy with a fabulous cast. Can't fault any of their performances. Love the Rossellini and Streep scene.
