movielover I am sorry I posted a photo instead of waiting for confirmation that you were correct. It would have been your turn to post and I jumped ahead of you.
Since I have learned to insert photos I think I have become a bit impatient and possibly deranged. Forgive me.

Jervistetch and OldAussie, now you guys don't go a swoonin'. I do not know how to send smelling salts through the internet.
Several clues:
The director is French and was married to the actress daughter of a huge classic era actor. At the time this movie was produced the actor (in screenshot #1) was married to a true style icon. The story is based on a novel by an Irishman. The cinematographer is the nephew of a famous Impressionistic painter.
Hope these clues help.

I thought the same thing. Vampire movie from late 60s to early 70s maybe. I have the answer to clue #one but all the titles are in FRENCH ! This is worse than a Garth Game , gunshotwound Guess #1
Is it spirits of the dead ?
EDIT THAT BLOOD AND ROSES

You have guessed the correct actress in clue #1, but Spirits of the Dead is not the answer for the screenshots. Don't get confused. Guessing the actress is just a path to the director.
