If she were bellowing something unintelligible about the 12TH MAN!!!, this would have worked perfectly.

Hmm, if Russell Wilson had been the one sneaking her in, you think he would have been cut?
One of the top things I hate about sports is the double standards. One standard for stars and another for guys trying to make the special teams squad. I really have a hard time finding an example where a team itself cut or disciplined a star severely. Ray Rice - who was a very good player at the time - practically OJ'd his girlfriend in an elevator, all on tape, and that guy was not disciplined at all by the Ravens. In fact, Harbaugh and the players literally stood around him and spoke wonderful things about him.

If a brand new intern at a corporation (and this player was essentially a fringe dude still trying to make the roster and maybe play special teams) flagrantly broke a rule early on, they’d probably be fired. If one of the three most important, most valuable, longest tenured employees broke the same rule? Of course they’d probably just get a slap on the wrist.

It depends on the infraction of course, but generally yeah that's how it would play out.

No, folks, things don't work like that for the NY Giants. We shit-canned both Shockey and Beckham because they were first class a-holes. They were stars, we didn't like their attitude...bye bye.

Lucky she didn't have to take any hits from a 350 pound lineman.

He was a rookie undrafted free agent and would've been a back-up CB if survived from being cut hence no big loss at all.

You didn’t shit-can them, you traded them... to other wealthy organizations where they continued to earn millions. Not exactly ruling with an iron fist, is it? “This is the last straw, Shockey. We’re moving you... to another well-paid job in a different company! Enjoy winning the Super Bowl!”

You didn’t shit-can them, you traded them... Uhh, trading a problem case is shit-canning them. Jets just did it with Jamal Adams. They didn't trade him because they could get equal value. They traded him (shit-canned him) because he was an unruly presence on the team. Shockey and Beckham were the same. Thus they were shit-canned. Giants are pure class organization. We don't tolerate imbeciles. You want to wear blue, you have to be pure of heart. You can't get much more golly-gee-whillikers than Eli Manning or, now, Daniel Jones.

You were talking earlier in the thread about how it would be great to see teams actually cutting and disciplining stars. Trading them to other teams is hardly doing that, is it? You mention Jamal Adams. He was literally asking to be traded all summer. How is giving him what he wants "shit-canning" him? Oh yeah, I bet he's still smarting from the "discipline" he received, heading into the season with an actual playoff contender.

I hate the Jets, but the Jets are actually on track to be a playoff team this year, while Seahawks are trending downward. Jets are an upcoming team while Seahawks have had their best days already in the past.
