Interesting list-especially when you get to the Box Office Poison and Over-Priced Stars list.
Was Gary Cooper really that popular in the 30s? 40s? The only film I hear his name come up in is usually High Noon.

What is usually forgotten is the movies they made in between, as in the case of Gary Cooper, while some movies today is classics, even strange projects like Peter Ibbetson, it was other movies that made them box-office stars, a horse and a rifle and some cattle movies. But if he hadn't made some prestige projects along the way, he would have been as forgotten as any old singing cowboy star.
As an example.

I note that in the list of twelve "Box Office Poisoners" eight are female. Thus bearing out the old adage "The female is deadlier than the male".
