Lynda Carter
Her images are all over the internet, at most art sites and there are numerous drawing videos online. She's also drawn by comic book fans, drive-in movie fans and television fans. She is an American icon.
Lynda Carter was once in a band called the Relatives; actor Gary Burghoff was the drummer. Her first band back home in Phoenix, Arizona was called Just Us.

I see there are many dolls for sale on the net. Still over $100 USD seems overoptimistic since nobody bids. She had a nice role in Disney's Sky High 2005, as a very cool principal, handling young pupils with superpowers that didn't know what to use them for yet.

I remember her 1980 tv variety show intended to show off her singing. "What the hell is this? ?" I thought.

Some performers are massive stars in their own time, but it takes an icon to build superstardom as time elapses. Perhaps some people predicted that the comic book phenomenon would change the nature of serial cinema, change the world and break one box-office record after another. Take Lea Thompson as another example, nowadays she gets asked as much about 'Howard The Duck' as 'Back To the Future', because it's now recognised as being a gamechanger (great movie by the way).
I'll look out for 'Sky High'. Thanks teleadm.

She happened to closely resemble the character and artistic trends. Nicholas Hammond was the spitting image of 1970s Peter Parker.
How simple it was back then--they get a picture from the source and say to a casting agent:
"Find someone who looks like Wonder Woman."
Casting Agent: "Ok, here's Cathy Lee Cosby!"
"Try a little harder."

I watched both shows and the Hulk and the Man From Atlantis.
No one seems to remember Lucan the Wolf Boy but me.

I love the show as a kid. She was a big reason. It was must-see tv with a dynamic musical theme. Then, Lynda Carter pulled off some amazing stunts. Like you, I loved that show.

"Fighting for her rights... in her satin tights!" Pure poetry! POLICEWOMAN CENTREFOLD springs to mind too! And I'm sure she was in a Mickey Spillane TV movie

That's interesting, hope you enjoyed the song.
I can picture Lynda Carter's band the Relatives sharing a bill with the Stone Poneys in Arizona (Linda Ronstadt is from Tucson and Lynda Carter is from Phoenix).

An artist’s perfect Muse.
She could almost be the inspiration in this picture for Meg Tilly's character in 'The Big Chill' (1983). In real life, Tilly had to give up ballet due to sustaining a serious back injury.
