Well for one thing like. Renting a horror vhs tape(s) only because there might be nudity. Yeah, but it didn't have to JUST be horror.......ANYTHING with an R-rating, and ESPECIALLY if it was made in the 70's was (almost) ALWAYS your "guarantee" of potential female nudity !! What did V.H.S. stand for ? And V.C.R ? VHS = Video Home System VCR = Video Cassette Recorder Thanks. I thought it may have been Recorder. I guess it sounds better than V.C.P. aka Video Cassette Player, which is what threw me off. But I feel V.C.P.R. would make more sense.

I have this exact VHS player and it still works! I got one of those huge ones from Panasonic from 1985 and It works perfectly. And I use it all the time.

shannondegroot But I feel V.C.P.R. would make more sense. There was a difference. A VCR would both play and record. But for less money you could get a VCP that would only play back VHS tapes but you could not record on it.
