Because the lyrics to some old songs are offensive? Well, i think i narrowed it down to just three: She's sexy + 17. By Stray cats. She's only 17 by Cinderella.
And Dancin' in the streets by Grateful DEad.
What other songs are not ok, if i forgot any?

This I must know.

I don't know the artist or the song... But a few years ago, I got a new neighbor, and while he was moving in... He (A White Guy) was loudly playing a song outside his home that referenced "N" this and "N" that... I found it highly offensive, and I'm not even Black... But worse still, there are kids all over the neighborhood, and I couldn't believe anyone would play a song like that where kids all throughout the neighborhood could hear it...
Total Trash. I can't believe anyone ever thought it would be a great idea to record such a "song".
Thankfully, that was the worst thing he ever did, and he's gone now...
But, still, you just don't play songs like that out in public in a residential neighborhood... Freedoms be damned, You just don't.

Young girl, get out of my mind My love for you is way out of line Better run girl You're much too young girl
With all the charms of a woman You've kept the secret of your youth You led me to believe you're old enough To give me love And now it hurts to know the truth
Young girl, get out of my mind My love for you is way out of line Better run girl You're much too young girl
Beneath your perfume and your make-up You're just a baby in disguise And though you know that it's wrong to be Alone with me That come on look is in your eyes]
Young girl, get out my mind My love for you is way out of line Better run girl You're much too young girl…

The O'Jays - "Love Train"
Starts off fine and wonderful:
People all over the world (everybody) Join hands Start a love train, love train
Continues with a nice message of brotherhood:
The next stop that we make will be England Tell all the folks in Russia, and China, too Don't you know that it's time to get on board
Wonderful. Hell, yeah, I'm on board with this. But the song suddenly turns very offensive and disgusting with an overtly racist term for Africans:
All of you brothers over in Africa

The song If I Could Fly that starts "She's just sixteen years old. Leave her alone they say." And Seventeen by Winger.

The song If I Could Fly that starts "She's just sixteen years old. Leave her alone they say." And Seventeen by Winger. Don't forget Christine Sixteen by Kiss. "I don't usually say things like this to girls your age, but when I saw you coming out of school that day, I knew, I KNEW, I've got to have you..."
"She's been around, but she's young and clean. I've got to have her, can't live without her, whoa no! Christine Sixteen!"And nobody thought anything of it. It was just a silly song.

Sixteen Candles seems safe enough, but it's probably by the same group who did that "Bobby Socks to Stockings" pedfest of a song.

Just looked them up. For some reason I thought it might have been about childhood playmates who were the same age and he noticed her in a romantic way when she went from bobby socks to stockings. But no. Ewww.

DEPECHE MODE - A QUESTION OF TIME
Fantastic track, though the way I read them the lyrics are either about someone protecting a teen girl or protecting one for his own use!
I've got to get to you first Before they do It's just a question of time Before they lay their hands on you And make you just like the rest I've got to get to you first It's just a question of time
Well now you're only fifteen And you look good I'll take you under my wing Somebody should They've persuasive ways And you'll believe what they say It's just a question of time It's running out for you It won't be long until you'll do Exactly what they want you to
I can see them now Hanging around To mess you up To strip you down And have their fun With my little one
It's just a question of time It's running out for you It won't be long until you'll do Exactly what they want you to
Sometimes I don't blame them For wanting you You look good And they need something to do Until I look at you And then I condemn them I know my kind What goes on in our minds
It's just a question of time It should be better It's just a question of time It should be better with you It's just a question of time

She’s Only Seventeen is by Winger, not Cinderella. 75% of the Ted Nugent discography is probably offensive, starting with Jailbait.

Neil Sedaka's "Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen" always made me cringe. The singer in the song has been hanging around this girl as a "big brother" figure since she was six years old! Now as she reaches the age of consent in many states, he announces, "Tonight's the night I waited for!" Eeewww.

All songs are ok, if you don`t like a song don`t listen to it and stop whining about it. Surely you meant "don't listen to it again." After all, how is anyone to know whether or not they like it before they read/watch/listen to it? Isn't it always too late to say "if you don't like it, don't listen to it?"
