Don Mattingly tossed after a profanity laced rant at the umps about the strike zone, and having watched this umpiring crew for a couple of Marlins series this year, he has every right to be pissed, the strike zone has been remarkably inconsistent and the umpiring hasn’t been good.

Don Mattingly tossed after a profanity laced rant at the umps about the strike zone, and having watched this umpiring crew for a couple of Marlins series this year, he has every right to be pissed, the strike zone has been remarkably inconsistent and the umpiring hasn’t been good. Honestly, it has been awful in every single game I’ve watched. So frustrating. The only good thing is that it has been equally atrocious for all teams.

Two absolute gut-wrenching losses for the Giants so far this weekend against the stinky A's. Oakland scored 5 runs in the 9th on Friday, then followed that by scoring 4 runs in the 9th on Saturday, stealing two wins in Frisco.
Yaz can only do so much......
I'd be pretty impressed to see the Giants come back and at least win today's game. Not much was expected from this team, but I would hate to see a massive freefall here.
