Super Bowl will occur. No fans maybe, but it will happen. And it might not be held in Tampa, but they will have it. The difference is that the Super Bowl is the biggest one day sporting event in America as it's all about the spectacle. Without fans it's just another football game so I hope it's all settled by then. Uhh, I don't know what propaganda you've been reading, but The Super Bowl is not the biggest one day sporting event in America. That happens to be the Indy 500. They get near half a million people at that race (350 thousand to 400 is the usual). And TV ratings are not how you judge it. Turning on a TV or going to a friend's house to watch the Super Bowl on TV costs nothing. The 350,000 at the Indy 500 have to actually pay to watch it. You charge people 200 bucks to watch the Super Bowl on TV, you think the viewing numbers would be the same as they are being free? Hell, I sure as hell wouldn't pay 200 bucks to watch what is essentially nothing more than a decent Sunday Night Football matchup. (And Katy Perry or Lady Gaga or Maroon 5 halftime shows sure aren't going to get 200 bucks from me or anybody else.)

Indy car racing hasn't been relevant for years as NASCAR rules the roost in that sport. Without looking it up how many sports fans could name the last Indy 500 winner, most know who won the Super Bowl though.

You don't know much. 1- NASCAR ratings and attendance has fallen like a lead zeppelin over the past decade while Indy Car's has grown. 2- off top of my head I could not even tell you who won the Super Bowl two years ago. Chiefs last year, two years ago....Eagles? Patriots? 3- once again, Indy 500 is the largest single day sporting event in the world. 300,000-400,000 people attend 4- Indy 500 is always far more entertaining than the Super Bowl. Remember that Seahawks v Broncos barnburner? I don't so I looked up the final score: 43-8. Amazing sporting event, right?

I'm afraid you dont know much as the Indy 500 is not the largest one day sporting event in the world; the NYC marathon regularly sees 2 million spectators. There's nothing really entertaining about any auto race unless you witness some crashes.

Marco is a notorious troll, everyone knows the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in America. Almost everyone, even those who don’t follow sports, watch the Super Bowl, no one except for racing fans care about the Indy 500, I couldn’t name one driver in the Indy 500.

You do realize that "2 million spectators" do not pay a dime to watch and, uhh, they live there. And you clearly know nothing about auto racing. Same old stupidity from people who don't watch. You know my grandmother says football is just a bunch of three hundred pound guys running into each other. She knows nothing of the sport, so that's all she sees in football. You are the same about auto racing. You know nothing.

everyone knows the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in America. Super Bowl isn't. Super Bowl attendance - 80 thousand tops Indy 500 attendance - near half a million The Indy 500 is the biggest single day sporting event on Earth. Just a fact. Why does that bother you?

I couldn’t name one driver in the Indy 500. Well, the guy who just won the pole today, his last name is, uhh, Andretti. Now if you don't know that name then, really what the hell are you doing at a Sports Board? Never heard of Jordan, Ruth, Gretzky either, right?

I think I'll say Seattle 20 - Baltimore 16 Solid choices.
Ravens were my pick to come out of the AFC too.
I'm going -
Eagles 56 Ravens 0

Best WR in football vs. Best CB in football D-Jax still has it - apparently he's getting the best of D-Slay in Training Camp this year - Eagles' secondary looks in fine hands with Darius Slow...

It doesn't matter if you pay or not as it's still a larger event then the Indy500 and if you don't know who won the last few Super Bowls what are you doing on a football thread?

Talk is Jalen Hurts isn’t getting too many reps in camp as Sudfeld is being prepared to be the backup. Weird as I heard Hurts was a Young/Rodgers/Vick/Lamar/Mahomes hybrid.

Radio.com
Tell a different story.
According to Radio.com - the Eagles are 'Blown Away by QB Jalen Mills after just 2 days of practices'.
Further sources -
According to 'Bleeding Green Nation' - Jalen Hurts 'ruled the red zone'.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jalen Mills is better at playing QB than Jalen Hurts.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jalen Mills is better at playing QB than Jalen Hurts. Wow. I had Jalen Mills on my mind.
Know why?
Everybody under the sun is raving about his switch from CB to Safety.
What a Swiss Army Knife, eh?
That's what today's NFL secondary is all about - sort of like positionless basketball in the NBA - you're expected/need to play more than one role.
Can't wait to see the Birds revamped secondary picking off the likes of Dak week in and week out.
I'm going out on a limb right now - the Eagles secondary will have the most picks in the league next year.

They don't get to count the times they pick off Jalen Hurts in practice, you know. From what I've seen of the Birds secondary, the only picking they'll be doing is picking themselves up off the floor after getting smoked.

You mean a quasi hybrid Dawkins/Reed/Lott/Polamalu
