Welcome to the new normal. Doesn’t it suck? Lol yeah whatever. Because this isn’t going to be the new normal as much as YOU may want it to be. Also hasn’t the economy always been in the shitter every election year? Let’s not act like this is any different. The only reason it’s really bad this time around is cause everything was shut down. But I’m hearing stage theaters and stuff are coming back next year. And they’ll get sick too.

Just curious. What are your suggestions of how to handle the situation? People criticize, but never have any better solutions. I don't see how society can put everything on hold indefinitely. I don't see how the economy could recover from that. It won’t. Things are bad but I think it’s gonna get worse. In fact, I’m almost certain that the economy is gonna tank worse than it already is. The risk might be necessary is what I am getting at.

I don’t listen to any outlets because if you ask me they’re all full of shit. I truthfully don’t know why anyone is listening to it these days!!!! Are you too lazy to do your own fucking research?

No but I'm not dumb enough to think this will just dwindle in severity if we reopened everything like the good old days neither.

Would you rather let everything shut down when all of this is over or would you like to see everything still be open when it is? I think In the end we’re gonna have to treat this like it’s the flu wether everyone wants to or not.

I think In the end we’re gonna have to treat thus like it’s the flu wether everyone wants to or not. Until there's a working vaccine, I'd err on the side of caution. I'm aware there will be businesses negatively affected by this route, maybe permanently. It is what it is.

I’ve said my piece. You have a good day or night.

Revert back to drive-in theaters. I am talking about all businesses and jobs, not just movie theaters. I think that is a good suggestion concerning movie theaters, but I am not sure how practical it is. Businesses are taking a cautious reopening: Limiting how many customers are let in, mask wearing; offices are staggering in-office hours, sanitizing areas and instituting "clean" protocols. In-house dining and in-house movie theaters are a real challenge. I know there are states in which in-house dining has been implemented, and there are protocols that should be followed. I've seen outside dining where tables were not six feet apart, too many people at tables, people getting up and milling about without masks. I wonder how restaurants will do when the cold weather hits and outside dining is no longer feasible? Of course, this hits the employee pool hard. As far as drive-ins, they can stay open pretty much all year except (in my area) possibly four months. Of course, the conundrum here is that there isn't any outdoor space left to accommodate them, and all the former drive-ins (4 within a seven mile radius) were sold years ago and redeveloped into commercial enterprises.

And the after-effects are very debilitating if you even survive the primary onslaught.
