The question we've all been too afraid to ask.

What's Hero? The Spider-Man song? Kiss From a Rose, easily. The best song on the Spider-Man soundtrack is 'Somebody Else' by Bleu. I have a lot of his stuff, for the life of me I've never been able to figure out why he isn't more popular.

I don't think any song from a superhero movie was ever as memorable as Kiss from a Rose. Hero and Bring me to Life come closest but still not close enough. Of the newer superhero movies, I think The Immigrant Song is the only one that sticks out. Maybe Back to Black and Hooked on a Feeling but I'm already stretching it.

But it did get a jumpstart when it was reused for Ragnarok. For the younger generation, it was the first time they heard it.

It just seems like if you’re going to count that, you might as well count Bohemian Rhapsody in Suicide Squad, or Iron Man by Black Sabbath.

We're not going to count every single song that accompanied a trailer, we're counting those that were memorable. The Ragnarok trailer was one of the most watched cbm trailers of all time and the lyrics of the Immigrant Song matched Thor far more than Bohemian Rhapsody matched Suicide Squad. When people hear Bohemian Rhapsody, they don't associate it with Suicide Squad whereas for people who only knew the Immigrant Song from Ragnarok, they immediately associate it with Thor. Ironman by Black Sabbath is a better contender, problem is I don't recall it being associated with any Ironman promotion. That's why I listed Back to Black instead as I feel that more people associate that with Ironman.

I like both, but I'm going with Hero because it's more memorable to me personally. I was really excited about the Spider-Man movie and I recall hearing that song all the time.

Also at the very end/credits for Iron Man I mean it immediately followed "I am Iron Man" like in the song just with RDJ saying instead of Ozzy. (and with a different inflection " I am Iron man" from ozzy vs "I AM iron man" from RDJ

I have to go with Kiss from a Rose... On the Spiderman Soundtrack I liked Sum41's What Were All about better than Hero...

But there's no way you're going to convince me that people associate Bohemian Rhapsody with Suicide Squad, regardless of how often they played it in the movie.

Hero. I’ve definitely had more of an attachment to it and it’s the one I listen to more often. Kiss From a Rose ain’t too bad though I guess.

Since we’re apparently sharing songs from comic book movies...
(Yes, I know this one is based on a Beatles song, but this particular cover was made for the movie)
And of course, who can forget this timeless classic...

Neither are particularly great. Seal is the best of the two.
Always had a soft spot for the (forgotten) Siouxise & The Banshees track for Batman Returns

I don't think DC has used licensed music to great effect since Watchmen. Just one example
After that pretty poor. Suicide Squad seemed to be snippets for the purpose of filling/selling a soundtrack. Justice League had a crappy Leonard Cohen cover versions. But worst of all, Aquaman had this moment
