Maguire managed to be named in the England squad for the upcoming Nations League matches regardless.
Two years on, I STILL don’t understand the Nations League.

Maguire found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and repeated attempts of bribery.
"Under Greece’s penal code, Maguire could face a three-year sentence but is likely to be spared as a result of a scheme that allows defendants to convert their sentences into “paid” penalties."
In other words, he'll simply pay his way out - one of the very things he's being charged as attempting.
