I think it would be really cool if Scream 5 brought the characters from the TV series. I think it would be a great crossover.
What does everyone think?

I don't see why not. I would like Scream 5 to feel like the other Scream movies though, not like the TV show.

It'd be cool if the TV series were to be referenced, but as fake show that exists within the Scream universe ala the Stab movies.

Without wanting to sound too negative, the TV series felt like a cheap cash-in, featuring a charisma-free cast, few scares and a lame plot.
The only way a cross-over would work was if the entire remaining cast of the TV series was killed off in the opening sequence.
