How come the teenage Justice Society of America could handily defeat the Injustice Society of America, but the adult members of the JSA couldn't ten years earlier and were in fact pretty much decimated, with the apparent exception of Starman?
The only difference between the two JSAs that I could think of was that the teen JSAs had Pat's gigantic robot S.T.R.I.P.E. on their side, whereas the original JSA didn't.
Was that the advantage?

Several members of the Injustice Society weren't there. That may be part of it as well as the robot.
