What is the correct process for adding the avatar, user name and posting time of someone to whom I want to reply. Thus far I simply using the copy function and dropping the words into my post, then adding the quote function. The result doesn't match what everyone else is doing.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Not sure if this is what you are asking but ... if you want to quote the entire post "Quote" button should do it .... upper right of screen. You can fine tune with BBCode view. Hope that helps

IF all you want to do is "tag" ... just highlight the @name UNDER the avatar and Paste it in your reply, They will get a notification that they were "tagged" if they have that enabled. phantomparticle
