A business partner of Jerry Falwell Jr has come forward to say he had a years-long sexual relationship involving Falwell’s wife and the evangelical leader... Granda told Reuters that the relationship involved him having sex with Becki Falwell while Jerry Falwell looked on.

To be fair this is may or may not be true (one first hand account can only be so trustworthy). Still it wouldn't surprise me if this was true, devoutly religious types having closeted sexual urges isn't exactly unheard of (who was that pastor that was caught smoking meth with a male prostitute?)

At this time CNN is reporting that Liberty Univ. is saying he has resigned but Falwell says he has not. Stay tuned for more dramatic (and funny) developments. This should prove amusing.

And yet Jimmy Swaggart still has his own Sonlife Broadcasting Network consisting of a 24-hours-a-day TV show asking for donations. Swaggart was caught with a prostitute in 1987 and 1991. After his second apprehension, he dismissed any culpability with, "The Lord said it's flat none of your business"

This is why I know that 'believing in God' has NO bearing one someone's morality. Since I'm convinced god's are created in man's own image, a person is at Liberty to imagine God anyway he or she wants to. If a person is, at their core, a good, faithful, honest person, a person of character, a nice person, etc. That person will be a good, nice, faithful, honest theists. If they are, at their core, a douche bag, they'll be theistic douche bags.
