Hopefully this fine community can help me find the name of the Horror movie that scared the crap out of me when I was only a wee lad.
I only remember a few flashes:
- It's a teenage slasher movie about a witch that kills people with some kind of cane that has 2 sharp spikes at the top end. - A scene where the witch's cane spins around upright on its own in total blackness. - The last act is set at a party where everyone is murdered and the protagonist tries to hide in a bathroom but there's a severed head in the toilet.
Thanks for your time and input

Could it be CURTAINS? The synopsis mentions a head in a toilet and the killer wears an old hag mask. CURTAINS

The House on Sorority Row (1982)? Not a witch, but housemother has a distinctive cane. Girl has a hallucination in which she sees her friends and housemother appear and disappear, leaving only cane spinning in vertical position. Head in a toilet NSFW.

Not a witch but it sounds like the schoolmarm in The House on Sorority Row (1983). The final girl hallucinates the cane spinning round. (It's actually her deformed son doing the killing in revenge for the death of his mother at the hands of the girls when a prank backfires horribly).
