Doctor Strange. Thus far, the MCU has been mostly solid and there have been several directors that left a MCU film while in development, but the resulting film still turned out okay. The jury is still out on Flashpoint.

There's a very good chance that Flashpoint will confuse the hell out of the casual audience. The DC movies just haven't been consistent and developed enough to start playing with alternate realities.
I mean, within the span of a few years we've already had two different Batmans, two different Jokers, a Deadshot who was made a main character but will no longer be featured, a one-off cameo by Deathstroke, a Superman that might be replaced, two different versions of Justice League... and now they want to put alternate realities into the mix?

Why would Deadshot and Deathstroke make things confusing? Them in of themselves are not confusing. It's the fact that taken together with the rest of what I mentioned show how disjointed and unstable the DC movies are.

Robert Zemeckis? I don’t recall him ever being attached to the movie. It’s being directed by Andy Muschietti. I don't know I heard somewhere that Robert Zemeckis was involved must have just been a rumor. Iirc her was rumoured to be in talks to direct the film but that was like 2-3 years ago, which is why I personally don't have much interest right now with Flashpoint, this films been mired in pre-production bullshit for years, which is why I think they are pulling out the stops with announcing Keaton and Affleck, they are trying to buy back good will, but given the amount of creative turn arounds, rewrites, start overs and such I have little to no faith in us seeing the movie.

If this Flashpoint is really going to have Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck in there as Batman then I'd go with that. they also have something called creative freedom that trumps cooperate film making. dr strange 2 to me already feels defeated because MCU rejected one of the best proposed ideas and chose to stick to their boring tired formula. Oh yes creative freedom like they gave Snyder who they removed from Justice League after the fazct and used his dead child as an excuse, the freedom they gave Affleck who not only ended up giving up writing, directing but also starring in The Batman due to it and his own issues, the freedom they gave Patty Jenkins who had to fight tooth and nail to get the most iconic moment of the film in the film, the creative freedom that also has ended up with The Flash getting multiple rewrites, start overs, directors and any other creative shake up on can imagine, oh the creative freedom they gave David Ayer when they gave his film to a trailer company to recut because people lost their shit over the trailers for the film they made, let us not forget the magnificent freedom they gave Joel Schumacher where they told him flat out we need to sell toys, sell us toys. You are a clown and a bad one at that, so go shove your big red nose up your stupid fat arse you buffoon.

The Flash as a character is a bit over exposed. I'm hungry for the next DS caper?
