I ask as there's a few I'd like to watch and I don't have Netflix. If I like a movie, I also like to get it on dvd, ideally with some dvd extras.
I just read that 'The Irishman' might be coming to dvd in November 2020, but I'm not sure if this is really the case. I'd watch 'The Babysitter', 'Marriage Story', 'The Perfection' and several other movies if they get dvd releases.

It's my understanding that they release their TV shows on DVD but not their movies. I don't know why though.
This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I think the key to winning the long game is keeping all original content exclusive. I just bought The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season One on Amazon. Once the remaining seasons are available for purchase elsewhere I won't have any use for Netflix. I literally keep it for Sabrina. That's it. Letting me buy it elsewhere is a big mistake.

I may be wrong but i think Annihilation was a netflix movie and that one was released on DVD. The film was released theatrically in the United States on February 23, 2018, by Paramount Pictures, and digitally in other markets on March 12, 2018, by Netflix.
