I thought about it today. Usually i just fly by the seat of my pants on it but i gave a thought to making a list of sorts to make sure i see all my stand bys as well as pick out the amount of new ones available.

I'm going to. Last year I threw in some family/kids Halloween movies in the mix and I really enjoyed that. I'm probably going to do that again this year.

I love the October challenge in theory, and always enjoy seeing everyone else's progress, but I can never make the time to come anywhere close to getting to the numbers needed. I applaud everyone else who makes the effort though.

I've narrowed mine down to 174 titles. I'll probably end up watching maybe 20-30 of them, but I enjoy deluding myself.

2020 has been strange, and I am busier than ever this fall ? ? weird. We will do full viewing... -Halloween I & II (as one film, family tradition) -In The Mouth of Madness, the only film production I was ever involved with. I bore/disrupt everyone watching with useless information (A family tradition). -TCM -Friday part II -Candyman -Nightmare on Elm original
Those are the staples. I hope many more hidden gems from sites like this. Horror and sci-fi fans have the best recommendations in film...I guess the lack of mainstream marketing, lol

I really like that movie. If you don't mind me asking, how were you involved with the production?

I usually pull out my horror collection of DVD's,and also look for new things on streaming that I haven't seen. I don't really make a list.

I'm gonna kick it off with a first time view of Crawl (2019) then an old favorite, da 1990 Night of the Living Dead.
Wrap up da challenge with Bill Hinzman's Flesheater. No real plan for what to watch in between.
Last year i only watched 2 or 3 movies for Oct. I just wasn't feeling it. I watched da AVP movies and The Uninvited(1944) But da latter is now my favorite ghost/haunted house movie, overtaking da Poltergeist trilogy.
Oh, i'm probably (i plan on it) gonna buy da Bonehill Road DVD to check out then. An indie werewolf movie dat uses practicsl fx.

I've been slowly accumulating titles in preparation for October. Last year I did a Hammer Horror theme. This year will be Universal Horror themed and I have about a dozen titles lined up that I've never seen.
