Kinda underwhelming, but I guess that’s a teaser for a teaser so not unexpected.

Kinda underwhelming, but I guess that’s a teaser for a teaser so not unexpected. I agree, but it barely shows anything. Just the actors and a sort of basic feel for the tone of the movie and what I am assuming is a sample of Hans Zimmer's score when the title comes up.

I would say it did it's job. It looks cool and it has a ton of people I like in it.

Without Ryan Gosling it might not flop

I’m cautiously optimistic about this but feel it could go either way. Yes, it’s sure to look like a dream but this is a hell of a hard novel to adapt faithfully without seeming silly and/or pompous. How they get around all of those inner monologues... David Lynch, of course, included them, and the results were weird, to say the least.

The 80s Dune movie sucked, the SyFy Channel Dune sucked, this new one will probably suck. The cast is lame and Denis Villenueve has never made a good movie.

I don't think those are jeans. They look like dark blue military style pants to me.

Looks pretty good. I read Dune (only the first book) a LONG time ago, and don't remember it very well, but this has me intrigued.
