Interesting.
I always considered Batman Begins a close second to Superman myself.
Although I think a few have come quite close to challenging Batman Begins.
Of all the superhero films listed here, I've always felt that Superman is the least comic book- and superhero movie-like, at least until Clark Kent becomes Superman.
It comes off as a classic epic film that just happens to be about a superhero.
