Can Pittsburgh go 16-0? Two really tough games left, Baltimore in two weeks, in Pittsburgh and a trip to Buffalo (the Bills are a tough out, Woo hoo!). you never know what will happen and would the Steelers play all their starters in meaningless games just to get the 16-0 mark? Can the J-E-T-S go 0-16? To tell the truth, I'd be surprised if they didn't. Three west coast trips, a visit to Massachusetts, Miami and Vegas in Jersey. No game that looks remotely winnable. Okay, tanking isn't all that easy. Athletes have pride and no one wants to go 0-16. And the prize is a franchise QB, but is that a goal for many of the players? How many will still be with the team when (if) Trevor becomes a star? I don’t think the Steelers will go 16-0 simply because it is so hard for a team to do that, but who knows, it’s been a crazy year, a 16-0 Steelers team isn’t out of the question. I do expect the Jets to go 0-16, they suck massively and have no talent. And while both teams want to be perfect, the teams playing the Steelers don't want that and the teams playing the Jets are fine with that.

I'm hoping the Pats have turned a corner on the season here. There's a real path to get to 8-8 or even 9-7 which a few weeks ago I didn't think was possible. Considering I expected 5 wins tops and said I'd be happy with anything over 4 (which they already have), I can't really complain (unless they lose out, which isn't going to happen). I originally had this upcoming game against Houston penciled in as a loss, but the way both teams are trending right now, I have to believe the Pats find a way to win this one.

The most memorable moments of his tenure involved barking at a reporter for slouching, and expressing his outrage that members of the media dared to ask him about the rape allegations surrounding him (which had just come out). He thought he could implement the “Patriot Way” simply by being a hardass all the time. Oh yeah, he had that thing with the pencil. |

Not sure what to do about tomorrow's game. In days of yore, I could reverse jinx the team simply by bitching about them. This year I've tried everything. Low expectations, no expectations, criticism, positivity. Last week I picked them to win straight up, and that blew up in my face.
I probably shouldn't pick them tomorrow, but to heck with it. I base this on nothing whatsoever, but I say they find a way to beat the Cardinals. Call it a reverse-reverse jinx?
