I liked it. It didn't take itself seriously. That's the key I think. These types of movies have to be fun. You can't take a film about 30-foot croc in a lake in Maine seriously. When it tries to be serious you end up hating the characters. |

It’s alright but I think I expected a bit more croc action in it. I liked Crawl more TBH.

Mediocre but it has that 'so bad it's good' quality at times. Not sure why everyone's so afraid of this crocodile, there's really no one in danger besides anyone that actually goes looking for the crocodile. The best killer croc movie out there is still Rogue (2007). Definitely recommend it.

Mediocre but it has that 'so bad it's good' quality at times. The best killer croc movie out there is still Rogue (2007). Definitely recommend it. Rogue is great. And I agree with your assessment. I appreciate that they spared one of the crocs. Mrs. Bickerman made the most sense out of all of them. |

Rogue is a great underrated horror movie. I seem to recall that the Weinsteins botched the movie's marketing & release and that's why it became a financial flop.

I watched it last year and thought it was enjoyable for the most part, thanks largely to the cast. There are many reasons why this movie succeeds where all the other alligator movies fail. Humor and a fun cast are the main reasons though.

It's a great movie. Not as good as Tremors but in the same family. Not as good as Alligator (1980). Probably better than Rogue but they are really different types movies.
