I told my pastor I lost interest in this board, and asked what God thought if I didn't come here to speak up for him.
My pastor said:
So I figured any pastor who could make a word five times bigger than the other words just by speaking, well, that convinced me to stay here, so I wouldn't go to HELL!.

[1] Here you goes, here's one that still shows a decline into 2013: Typically because this country has better education and job oppurtunities. [1] You have presented two surveys whose results show a considerable margin of error. I tried to line them up as closely as possible and this is the result. I say atheism "peaked" in 2012, you have a survey that shows in 2013 it did not turn around, but surveys differ, even yours, and the difference from my claim is not significant. Try finding a survey that shows atheism is still strong in 2016 or 2020.

1. Here you go: www.atheismandthecity.com/2016/10/number-of-religiously-unaffiliated.html2.) You can ahead cry like a little girl all you want, it's there for anyone to see. Your orginal argument was that atheism "peaked" in 2012 even though you gave no actual polling data/statistics and your "proof" was because Reason Rally attendance was down? Hey by your reasoning less people like the New York Giants now because game attendance was down this year and there's no other factors to consider.

May be it's because of too much work and I like to spend most of my leisure time on watching sports or discussing sports on sports board. Or may be there's simply not much interest remaining in religion for me or the topics here are getting repeated. I know CoolJGS☺ has also kind of lost interest on this religion (even if he probably posts on religion board at reddit). Has anyone else lost interest in RFS? Here you go, Aj_June (& everyone else looking for more fun than just this message forum). Free Triple Diamond Slot Machine

Isn’t he able to take care of himself? And even if you don’t, where’s the commandment Jesus saying he will send you to HELL!for not doing so...actually when did Jesus send anybody to H E 🏒🏒? My pastor saw this, and I said, "well, I don't need to answer this, do I?" My pastor said: I still don't know how he manages to make a word that big while he's speaking. I guess that's something that comes with being a pastor.

Hey by your reasoning less people like the New York Giants now because game attendance was down this year and there's no other factors to consider. I am talking about atheists. That poll is talking about "unaffiliated." That is not the same thing. Quite many "Christians" do not consider themselves members of any organized religion. That however is only part of it. Many people in many denominations do not attend services regularly. I already showed you once how the wording of surveys can dramatically influence the results. That poll is obviously biased toward atheism. Look! You just fell for it! One factor increasing atheism is virtually anonymous social media like this board. So in 2013 many people here were deciding they were "atheists" but it's built on shifting sands. The sands have already shifted out from under you.

If lumberjacks gave the tests then lumberjacks would score higher on them. I already know that many people are atheists because they take the Bible literally ... ... and because they are stupid.

And atheists are better educated, therefore better equipped to use critical thinking skills. That has been debunked.

That is not the same thing" Unless they specifically identify as a deist, that basically just atheism. Don't be a child. If you asked these "unaffilaited" a question like "Do you believe in any god in particular?", what do you think their answer is gonna be? "Quite many "Christians" do not consider themselves members of any organized religion." No, they would most most likely to be Catholics, Protestants, Episcopalians (which are organized religions) "I already showed you once how the wording of surveys can dramatically influence the results." That's literally all surveys. You've yet to post any surveys that prove your argument, btw. "That poll is obviously biased toward atheism." What the hell does that even mean? Again, irreligiousity (barring deism) is basically just atheism. "One factor increasing atheism is virtually anonymous social media like this board." So are you backpeddling and admitting that atheist is still increasing? "So in 2013 many people here were deciding they were "atheists" but it's built on shifting sands. The sands have already shifted out from under you." I dunno what this means, I'll just label it as gibberish.

From above: Atheists also are more likely to be white (78% vs. 66% of the general public) and highly educated: About four-in-ten atheists (43%) have a college degree, compared with 27% of the general public.
And as personal witness, I’ve seen the phenomenon of critical thinking skills on this board. While, this does not mean the CTs are atheists, their critical analysis on most subjects here tend to be more cogent and rational than the lesser-educated who have no problem believing the most outlandish claims over simple truth and common sense. Again, the problem atheists have with the fundamentalist Christians or the fundamentalist heterodox Christians like yourself is a majority of atheists (70%) also say churches and other religious organizations do more harm than good in society, and an even larger share (93%) say religious institutions have too much influence in U.S. politics. We can see this playing out before eyes with the Christian Right’s Cult of Trump. As for most other Christians who are either minding their own business or actually being Christ in the World, most atheists are A-OK with them. Whenever we are presented data that "atheists" do better at one thing or another than "religious" people or in this case the "general public" it is because "Christians" are more atheist than atheists and make up such a significant part of the "general public." The side for "creationism" is made up of people who take the Bible literally when the Bible itself never required that. The side for "evolution" (where it is opposed to religion) is made up of people who think evolution extends to abiogenesis, which no science suggests. There you have it. Two sides of the same bad coin, "fundamentalists" and atheists, neither side is up to speed.

I would like to see mslo unbanned. I certainly don't agree with him a lot, and yes he was a covid denier, but he's had a month timeout. If he can behave, why not let him back? As far as I know this was his first ban. Amazing to think that mslo is banned while the likes of Fleetsin, Goz and Bucky are still polluting the board.

Fleet, Goz, and Bucky are probably identified as mentally challenged and handicapped. It would be a violation of their rights to ban them.

It really gets to you that people challenge your religion, doesn't it? Thankfully this is not a bannable offence.
