I love the way she wasn’t afraid to look her age but it still feels like she went too soon.

One image that was missing -- her bitchy actress 'Arlena Marshall' who winds up strangled on the beach in EVIL UNDER THE SUN.
Her verbal duels with innkeeper Maggie Smith are one of the highlights of this Agatha Christie story.

Great photos. She is good in everything.
She had a lovely moment in Evil Under The Sun with Maggie Smith, trying to ousting each other in You’re The Top.

Another special memory of Diana Rigg was in the 1975 TV-movie IN THIS HOUSE OF BREDE.
She portrays a well-to-do London businesswoman who gives up her comfortable life (including the man who loves her) to become a cloistered Benedictine nun.
Great opening as she sits in a London Pub having a final brandy (reminded me of General Gregory Peck in TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH sharing a friendly smoke with his driver before entering the Air Corps base where he will have to be a bastard to the depressed fliers).
BREDE was based on the novel by Rumer Godden, who also wrote BLACK NARCISSUS -- also about ladies in the nunnery.
Diana's boyfriend that she leaves behind in this one was played by Denis Quilley, who portrayed her cuckolded husband in EVIL UNDER THE SUN (he's the one at the piano in the EVIL clip with Diana and Maggie Smith).
