Well, might be taking a break. That stinks.  TEXT: After a career “sprint” of 10+ years, actor Chris Hemsworth is ready to slow down. The actor has announced in a new interview with Vanity Fair that he’ll be taking “some time off,” following the revelation while filming his Disney+ original series Limitless that he has a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s. This discovery was just the most potent of a series of moments during production forcing the actor to face “the reality” of his own mortality. “It really triggered something in me to want to take some time off. Honestly, I really wish they just killed off Thor in IW and given him a heroic ending like Stark. There was almost no reason not to. Thor would never be another headlining character, not even with the Avengers. They should have him die like Odin, vanish into the ether or whatever they do, early in an upcoming film... anyone's film. Captain America's, Guardians 3, etc... just get it over with.

The actor recently spoke to Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused Podcast and the topic of Thor's future inevitably came up. He admitted that Thor's MCU return should have a drastically different tone than what audiences have seen recently. "....You look at Thor 1 and 2, they were quite similar. Ragnarok and Love and Thunder are similar. I think it’s about reinventing it. I’ve had such a unique opportunity with Infinity War and Endgame to do very drastic things with the character. I enjoy that, I like keeping people on their toes. It keeps me on my toes. It keeps me invested. I’ve said this before but when it becomes too familiar, I think there’s a risk in getting lazy then because I know what I’m doing.
