The NHL is soooo fucking stupid. Worst run sport on Earth. Check this insanely moronic move.
OK, NHL playoffs for first time are running against the behemoth that is the NFL. So what does NHL do? They schedule a playoff game - Islanders v Lightning - on Sunday. Not move it to Monday, but Sunday against NFL.
It gets worse.
Schedule on Sunday -- in the afternoon. Not move it to night, but schedule it Sunday afternoon smack in the middle of ten NFL games.
It gets worse.
One of the teams is the NY Islanders. Islanders and NY Jets share a fan base. So what does NHL do? Schedule an Islander playoff game during a Jet game.
Oh, it gets even worse and real stupid.
Who are the Islanders playing? The Lightning. The Tampa Bay Lightning. And the NHL schedules a Tampa Bay playoff game against Tom Brady's debut with the TAMPA BAY Buccaneers! Holy Shit! Can a league be this stupid? YES!
