Rivers must have been the bad luck charm.

Burrow out here just marching his team down the field like a vet. Edit: And AJ Green with the pass interference in the endzone. And the kicker misses the field goal wide right. Damn, man. I thought his hands weren't big enough to be a good Pro.

Garoppolo blew this game.

Kyler Murray was the only 100 yard rusher today, but took two knees for 98.

Looks like last year might have been a fluke for the Niners.

Cards upset the Niners 24-20. Huge win for the Cards and I think they will contend for the postseason this year, while I’m interested to see if the Niners are suffering from the hangover of losing the Super Bowl. Of course it hurt the Niners that they had a bunch of nobodies at receiver today because of injuries and Kittle was a non factor in the 2nd half, but frequently teams that lose the Super Bowl struggle the following year, it’ll be interesting to watch the Niners.

These new Buccaneers white unis look way too similar to the Falcons' whites. Damn near thought I was watching a Falcons game when the Bucs/Saints game first came on Redzone. Should've gone back to the orange unis if you ask me.

As you said, though, Burrow looked really good on that drive. The loss hurts, but I'd be heartened if I was a Bengals fan.

Looks like last year might have been a fluke for the Niners. I think it's that the Cards are legit. I'm going to say that Kliff Kingsbury's college record is due to being at Texas Tech, not that he didn't know what he was doing.

Saints get the win 34-23, not a good start to the Brady era in Tampa, the Bucs looked extremely unprepared and really sloppy.

I predict the Buccaneers --- if they stay healthy --- will win the division. They have the best quarterback, lots of talent, and they'll get better as the season goes on. They would have won today if they hadn't kept shooting themselves in the foot. The Saints are the same team they've been for the last 3 years. They're loaded with talent, so they'll win lots of games. But they are notoriously bad in big, high pressure games. The last big, high pressure game I remember them winning was the Rams --- at home --- two years ago --- in the REGULAR SEASON. And they lost to them --- that year --- at home --- in the POST SEASON. I predict the Bucs will win the division. And the Saints will get a wild card berth. And they'll lose in the playoffs.

I figured teams with either new coaches, new QBs, or ton of rookies would look sloppy early this season due to no preseason. A team like the Saints with a long stable group really benefit from this.

Pats got an ugly win today, but all things considered, I'll take it. There didn't seem to be an offensive game plan at all. Just cobble together a few plays, then give it to Cam on 3rd and short. It was enough to beat a bad team, but it only gets harder from here on out. But again, I'll take a win over a loss any day. They have the rest of the season to get better.
I saw some but not all of the Bucs game. Bad game by Brady, but he recovered enough to keep it from being an absolute disaster, stats wise. The first pick was clearly a miscommunication, not sure why some people were commenting on it being a bad throw. The second pick was vintage Brady, fed up with his team after their 50th penalty he decided to force a ball when the play just wasn't there. He calmed down after that, but he's going to have to be perfect is his team is going to be this careless all season. The defense jumping on 4th & 2 was hilarious. There was a 1000% chance Brees was going to do a hard count there.

Looks like last year might have been a fluke for the Niners. Super Bowl loser often has an off year the next year. Like the Rams last year.

If the Bucs keep "stabbing themselves in the back", they won't win the division.
