We watched it last night and I would consider it an above average zombie movie. The plot reminds me of one of the stories in World War Z, the nerdy kid stuck in his apartment although not quite the same but I would imagine inspired by. It's a well made and well shot movie that doesn't ignore modern culture or overly embrace it. The dead are the creepy herkie jerky Asian zombies, makeup was acceptable. I would say they are a mix of Romero LOTD and Boyle's infected, fast and able to do simple tasks like open doors.

How does it compare with Train to Busan?

How does it compare with Train to Busan?
Train to Busan is faster paced, more suspenseful, and shows the city falling. #Alive is a smaller stakes story of a young man trapped in his apartment during zpoc.

That was one of the most memorable stories from WWZ. I plan on watching it during the October horror movie challenge.

I wish WWZ was better written and I would read it again.
