I have absolutely no expectations for this Giants this year. I don't know anything about this new coach, much of the new personell, the health of returning players, or what Daniel Jones is going to become. I can only hope that Saquan is healthy and can take over games by himself like we've seen that he is capable of doing, but Solder (who didn't have a good year last year anyway) has opted out of the season leaving a suspect offensive line without it's anchor.
Any showing of any kind of bright spot will be a nice surprise.

Im hoping Steelers Titans win. I have both in the pickem and am a Steelers fan so, win win for me.
I also actually think they will. I worry the Steelers game will be very close but am optimistic. I don't know much about the Broncos this year but if the Titans hand off to Henry i don't see why they cant win.

This is just my neuroses speaking most likely but that Eagles-Redskins game has me spooked as far as the Steelers game is concerned. Not that the preseason ever was the greatest arbiter of in-season success, but I'm taking "Roethlisberger is fine" rhetoric on a wing and a prayer more so than in a year where I could have seen him play three drives in the third preseason game. Steelers are 15-2 on Monday Nights since Tomlin became coach, so I'll try to have that calm my nerves. I like how Tennessee has put its team together, but with no or reduced fans in the stands this year, Denver is really the only team that has kept a home field advantage. I'm hoping Tennessee roughs them up some - - Broncos come to Pittsburgh next Sunday.  |

Giant game will be over by 8 minutes into the second quarter.
Because of no pre-season games, Giants had an intra-squad scrimmage in camp. Daniel Jones was sacked five times and fumbled three times....AND THAT'S AGAINST THE GIANTS!
We are doomed this season. We can't even beat the Giants, how are we going to beat the Steelers or the Cowboys or the Eagles or even the Redskins?

Broncos got no Von Miller for the season. I think they'll win anyways.

This may be an overreaction halfway through the first quarter but the Steelers’ defense looks insane. Like best in the league quality.
I also forgot how completely repulsive Roethlisberger is.

Steelers have an outstanding defense, they are very strong at each level with several great players. Their offense isn’t that great, and last year their offense sucked terribly with Rudolph and Hodges at QB and yet they almost made the playoffs.

Steelers' offensive line is concerning, although DeCastro is out tonight. Giants have made some big plays, but on a play-by-play basis, they have been really impressive. Giants tackles are pretty brutal at the moment.

Pretty entertaining game - I expect the Steelers to control the second half though, once the Steelers settled in they’ve been in control, Saquon has negative yards on 8 carries, that simply cannot happen for the Giants.

That one screen pass showed you what Barkley can do if he has any kind of space. But this offensive line looks like the worst the Giants have had in years and the giants have consistently had the worst offensive line in the league for years now. |
