I have to side with your roommate. Cockroaches are attracted to filth, foodstuffs left out, crumbs, unwashed counters, sinks that have foodstuffs in the drain basket, dirty stoves, etc. Cockroaches also carry nasty germs.

I get that. I had cousins (twice removed) who lived in Brooklyn, and they had cockroaches, and didn't think anything of it. We didn't visit them that often. All you need is one person in a building or a restaurant who doesn't clean up, and you can have a building infestation. Sad.

Yuk!!! My husband lived in an apartment building at one time that had a bad tenant that infected the entire building. They had to get heavy duty exterminators in, and then did a monthly spraying.

They had to get heavy duty exterminators in, and then did a monthly spraying. my ex had silverfish at his apartment. or at least something that ate through clothing. that was the most disgusting place i ever put up with. Sometimes there are moth larvae that love to eat natural fibers, particularly wool, sometimes cotton. Nasty buggers. That's why people use to store their Winter woolens in what they called moth balls - camphor, actually. About four years ago, my husband ordered a cord of wood for the fireplace. We keep it way back in the yard on a rack, and keep an available bunch in a wood ring outside the family room between the house and the garage. He would take in about six logs to put in the hearth rack. Well, it must have had little moth larvae in it, because a few days later we had an infestation of those little bastard moths!!! ALL OVER THE FREAKING HOUSE!! I made him take out all the wood, and take all the wood from the ring back to the rack in the back of the yard. Told him he could only bring in logs that were going to be used in an existing fire. It took almost all Winter to get rid of those bastard moths! We never ordered wood from those people again. YUK!!!

Do you kill the cockroaches when you see them or let them go ? I let one go the other day but then I saw it somewhere else and decided it was him or me.

What does that mean? That you are bisexual? You act both masculine and feminine? You pretend to be a man sometimes? ?? ?? ?? ??

What does that mean? That you are bisexual? You act both masculine and feminine? You pretend to be a man sometimes? ?? ?? ?? ?? Took me three whole seconds to find this on the INTERWEB: Gender-fluid people are people whose gender changes over time. A gender-fluid person might identify as a woman one day and a man the next. They might also identify as agender, bigender, or another nonbinary identity.

I promise, I'm not attacking you. Or looking to criticize anybody. That generic definition is too vague.

What does that mean? That you are bisexual? You act both masculine and feminine? You pretend to be a man sometimes? ?? ?? ?? ?? It's a new thing. I don't get it,either. Oh, well. I had a friend who was a transsexual, and I never questioned this once. I guess it's kind of whatever you grow up with, but I don't even understand what "gender fluid" means. I guess it's when a person wakes up and says to themselves "I'm feeling more like a guy today" or whatever the case may be. It seems unnecessarily complicated to me, but whatever suits them...

I promise, I'm not attacking you. Or looking to criticize anybody. That generic definition is too vague. 1. I'm not the gender fluid one. 2. I think that answers it pretty succinctly. 3. And anyway, I don't give a fig who identifies as what. None of my business. 4. There is a wealth of information on it. Just use any of the search engines.
