It's unimaginable. Was watching the news last night, and the scope and scale is truly horrific. Talk about a domino effect.

Wait til Yellowstone erupts, that'll be quite a sight. Is the ash I'm breathing as harmful as the volcanic ash? Just an intellectual question. Like what's worse being stabbed to death or shot to death?

I live in New Jersey, and the haze and the smell of burnt wood has been in the air for days. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for everyone out West.

The haze blocks a lot of the sun, but it's so high up, we aren't breathing it or smelling it. Three of my neighbors have fire pits, and use them each night. I choke on that smoke. Hate it because I like having the windows open. Ugh. Truth be told, I don't even like using our fireplace.
