Sky Metalwawa was two years old when he disappeared. According to his mother, Julia Biryukova, she was driving him to the hospital when she ran out of gas. She left him in the car and went off with her older child to get help. When she returned to the car, he was gone. When the police investigated, they found that the car had plenty of gas. Sky's mother made some other vague statements that did not explain what had happened to him. Julia Biryokova and Solomon Metalwawa, Sky's father, were involved in an acrimonious separation and divorce, with a lot of argument over the childrens' custody and safety. Sky's parents apparently left him in the car while they shopped at Target when he was a baby. The police paged them in the store, then arrested them when they arrived at the car. They said they'd only left him for a few minutes, but store cameras showed that Sky was alone for almost an hour. They went to parent training, and the charges were dropped. Sky's mother had various mental health issues that worsened as her marriage dissolved. She was so particular about cleanliness that her husband had to eat outside. She was also hospitalized with depression. In 2015, she had a new baby with a guy who spent time in and out of jail. CPS was trying to remove the baby because it was feared he was in danger. I wonder if anyone's heard anything more recent? Wikipedia article: www.kiro7.com/news/mother-missing-boy-has-another-child-feared-risk/26796585/

Yeah... Sounds like it's the most obvious answer in this case...

Hate to say this, but always suspect the parent(s) first.
Many won't agree with this, but with child abusers I firmly believe mandatory sterilization should be a non-negotiable part of any punishment deal.

She was taking the kid to hospital yet left him there by himself when the car (supposedly) ran out of fuel? Yeah right, most mothers wouldn't have done that. They'd have carried the kid with them in their arms if they had no other choice. Either the parents did something to him or they got someone else to do it.
