Amazon had to disable and remove reviews for this book from their site, because of all the trolling and the hate spewed at her by trans activists.
*** EDIT ***
Looks like I had the wrong information. There are some reviews after all, all of them positive. They must have deleted the negative ones, written by people who obviously never read the book.
Yes, of course. Clearly if the reviews were negative, they were only written by people who've never read the book. Unless you are new to the Internet, you must be familiar with the kind of "review" I was referring to - very short, containing nothing but the most generic criticism (or praise - supporters of the work do it too) and a very low (or very high) rating. They are really not that difficult to spot.

And that the negative ones were deleted because they hadn't read the books. In any case, legitimate customer reviews can be short and generic with a very high or very low rating as well. They're not that hard to spot either.

They're not that hard to spot either. You are making this into much more than it is. This is what happened: - I read somewhere that Amazon had been forced to remove user reviews for the book in question, because there were so many negative reviews. - I checked and saw that it wasn’t true that reviews had been disabled, as there were still a few (positive) reviews up. - I made the assumption that Amazon must have removed all the reviews that were obviously fake – the one-liners saying “Horrible book, don’t waste your time” or “Boring, JK Rowling has lost her touch” or “JK Rowling is a bigoted bitch”, and that the only reviews that were left were positive ones. - Was my assumption wrong? Maybe it was. Maybe Amazon just decided to delete all 1-star reviews without regards for their actual content. Who knows? Who cares?
