I'm very torn here because Rajon Rondo is one of my favorite all-time players and I would love to see him get another ring, but he's a Laker......so fuck him.
Basically for me, if it isn't the Celtics, then just let it not be the Lakers.

First you admit you are a fan of the biggest douche bag that ever hit radio (a criminal to boot), and now you say "Dwight Howard is a nice story." Uhh, are you aware that Howard has been the biggest douche bag in NBA over the past decade? He's been on a lot of teams and on every team it is always the same - his own teammates hate him. But you say it will be "a nice story" if he wins with the Lakers. Good God. Do you think it would be a nice story if the Bills make it to the Super Bowl and trot out O.J. as their honorary captain? The guy never won a championship. We should feel for him right? Christ. If there's one person who will be voted most useless on this board, it is you.

He was supposed to be the next Shaq when he was in Orlando.
Since - he's bounced around (not long) on 5 different teams.
People called him immature, an instigator, a player where everything was about him.
He came out and stated he did some soul searching - he grew up.
Doesn't sound like he's been a hindrance to the Lakers at all this year.

Before he signed with them - they warned him - if you're any type of locker room disturbance at all - you're gone.
Sounds to me like he behaved for the most part as he's made it to the WCF - it's a nice story in my eyes if he shows he can be a team player and not disrupt their chemistry after widely being regarded as one of the worst teammates in the league
As far as not wanting to live in a Bubble for months - I don't think a lot of players hearts were in it - Embiid even came out right before the Sixers went down and stated he didn't feel like participating either but didn't want to let down his teammates and city (Shake Milton stated the same)

I don't follow the NBA but I do root for players. I think Westbrook got eliminated already as did Giannis so I'd say LeBron and the Lakers. Always liked LeBron. Seems like a genuine good dude. Plus I'd just like to see his haters rage over it.

Gordon Hayward.
I feel like he’s about to become an NBA tragedy. Ever since that major foot injury his first season with Boston and what was supposed to be his tandem with Kyrie...
He hasn’t been the same. He’s Going to be injury prone the rest of his career. So hopefully he wins a title in the next few seasons. Before he is forced to be reduced to a 6th man role or a scenario role, then eventually early retirement.
