Meh, I think he would be a better fit for a new Wolverine. Aidan Turner or Henry Cavill would be better choices for Bond

I wonder if this rumor (which hasn’t been confirmed yet) is he is actually playing a villain? Or, is this a way to lure Nolan to direct a 007 movie? He likes Tom Hardy. |

I can't see it. He's a recognisable name, got a good reputation but he's done enough movies to be considered not a Bond actor. Maybe I'm wrong. Whoever they pick sure will be fine, they've never been wrong with Bond actors.

I like him as an actor, but I would prefer if they’d cast someone else. What appeal could this role have for him anyway? Acting-wise playing Bond can’t be too much of a challenge and he would have to commit for a series of films, considering that he already has two other franchises with Venom and Mad Max, he would barely have time for other projects.

Cavill would be better imo. Hardy is more of a chaotic and eccentric charmer while 007 is more smooth and calm.
I think Hardy can work but he’d have to tone down the twitchy-weirdo stuff from Venom/Capone.

I've seen plenty of his movies and stand by my opinion. I find him dull and unimpressive. Charlize Theron was more memorable in Mad Max than Tom Hardy. Tom is just the average Joe in movies. |
