Well, that was some turnaround. Southampton bailed out for the second half, defending perilously high, losing that spark of the first half. Spurs, thanks to Son, and the assist qualities of Kane, romped home after a dismal first half. Quality-wise they were nothing special but took full advantage of the home side's generous approach to the defensive high line.
But take nothing away from Son - he had a terrific game as ruthless hitman, no mercy, no dithering, no hesitation - an out and out footballing sociopath.

Mourinho interrupts Son's MOTM award to say Kane should have got it:- www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/54227753Thought this was a bit unnecessarily weird from Mourinho. I'm sure Kane must have had a great game with four assists and a goal to boot - and maybe was the best player on the park. But to purposefully interrupt your own player actually getting an award to say he didn't deserve it!
