Deep Space is a goofy Alien knock-off set on Earth, where Charles Napier takes on a very xenomorph-looking monster. Julie Newmar has an odd part as a psychic lady who phones up warning the cops about the monster. It was kinda like the 1979 film The Dark, only it was in fact an alien, not a zombie that they made into an alien half-way into production, and actually entertaining and not complete shit. It had a cool UK VHS cover, which made the monster look ten times scarier than the crappy puppet in the movie.
Dead Space is also a knock-off of Alien. Not just any knock-off, it's a blatant rip-off of another Alien knock-off, the 1982 Roger Corman production Forbidden World. And guess who produced this also.... Roger Corman. The cheap-ass bastard!

Did you know Alien was actually a knockoff of a 1950s b movie?:

Aw, I thought this was about Dead Space the video game series.
And shit, since this is the religion board, Altman be praised.

At least we know where Academy Award nominated actor Bryan Cranston started his illustrious career.

Alien is like Mad Max. Often copied, never equaled. Today I was watching Event Horizon. Itβs very lame.

That doesn't look too bad. The worst Alien ripoff is Inseminoid.
