It is strange how times flies, as while I am very much looking forward to October, the whole summer have just "flown" away, and suddenly here we are. But then, I am also as mentioned, very excited, as I did miss out on the 2018 and 19 October horror challenges, and I will do my best to at least beat my old 2017 (31 horror films watched) and of course, it is always fun and interesting to keep looking up and reading what kind of movies other people will check out, and what they end up rating them. Anyway, great of you to start this up lostinlimbo, and I'll be sure to be back in early October.

Alright! October is my favorite month of the year. Im sure no one is surprised that I love Halloween time in general. I plan for this to be my best year ever. I already have tons of horror films lined up. Plus I got my 32nd birthday on the 4th.

I’ve got a few first times already lined up that I’ve been holding off on watching until October. This is it...don’t get scared now.

Of course you'll have stiff competition if TheSowIsMine will be participating! I myself won't even come close to you guys, but as long as I beat my total from last year I'll be happy.

Been a few years since I've done it. Last time I quit at 14 because I couldn't find enough new movies that I could watch all the way. But I'm on 4 streaming services now so shouldn't be a problem.

I managed to make it to 21 titles last year, which was pretty good by my standards but still fewer than I'd expected to watch.

And remember, if anybody breaks the rules of the challenge then they will get the paddle. This time it will be Animal House-style...

I'll participate again this year. I regret not watching at least one more film last year, but it was a treat watching horror films that I had never watched before.

I’m gonna attempt to beat my mark last year...44. Hopefully I don’t hit a wall or get outrageously busy halfway thru the month.

First film done. Sad to say it was lousy. Sorry to hear that, but I guess I cannot say I had an "flying" start neither, as Zombie Nightmare (1987) (the other Jon-Mikl Thor horror film from 1987) turned out to be quite bad. Still, there was also some "quality" cheese, and a very fine looking and young Tia Carrere in there as well, so I was kind of "generous" with my 3/10 rating. Managed to see a second film before I "passed out", and that was a Universal Horror film, Son of Dracula (1943) with Lon Chaney as Count Alucard . It was, well, not bad, but kind of boring, even though it did pick up in the last 15-20 minutes or so, but nothing that I would rate beyond 5,5/10. Well, the day is far from over, so I might still pick up a few better or at least more enjoyable horror films. Anyway, good luck on your horror viewing.
