Usually it’s a movie we wish didn’t overstay its welcome, but the opposite can still be true.
The Wicker Man (1973) has always been one that I’ve thought needed a longer cut (which apparently exists but has never been released).

I think there are a couple of third films that some people wish were longer so they wouldn't feel rushed to wrap things up.

The only one i can think of is Let Us Live (1939) its only 68 minute it should probably have been 25-35 minutes longer.

Ben Hur (1959), that's not a joke answer, there is a section of the film after he escapes from the ship with Quintus Arrius where it jumps ahead 5 years and in a line of dialogue we're told Ben Hur has spent 5 years racing on the chariot circuits of Rome and become a pro at chariot races

Actually it was a year. The ‘five’ Arrius refers to was races not years. Later Esther comments the time span between the arrest and his return was four years. I’m not disagreeing about seeing more Judah in Rome but I’m just stating the facts.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles - The original run time was well over two hours. I would love to see that.

There are couple scenes which were cut from Anna and the Apocalypse which would be nice to have put back in place, especially Tony's song "Some Things Will Never Change" and the full versions of all the songs.

Ben Affleck's Live By Night has such a rushed first half that I wonder if he did initially have a longer cut near the 3 hour mark.

Where's Poppa? (1970)
Its final act is rushed and the ending feels unfinished and dissatisfying as a result. It could have easily used another half an hour of running time.

The third act of Goodfellas is really rushed. It could've used a little extra time to play out imo.

Alice in Wonderland 1951
As a kid it felt a longer run time. I was shocked when I revisited a few years ago.

The Narrow Margin (1952) - A great crime drama noir, but it’s only 1 hour and 11 minutes long. It leaves you wanting more.

Ed Wood
It's a beautiful, heart-felt movie. I was disappointed when it ended after the premier of Plan Nine From Outer Space. Thinking about it later, I realized it finished on just the right note and we didn't see Wood descend into depression and alcoholism, which would have made it a different movie, altogether.

Jurassic Park 3 feels a little rushed but I suppose it may have to do with not being used to 90 minute movies in recent times.
