HOUSE OF THE DEAD aka ALIEN ZONE 1978 - this has a number of somewhat familiar faces. The stories are not so great (though i think the last one could work as a Steve Ditko Eerie story. The first story has a creepy scene with kids in masks.
SCREAMS OF A WINTER NIGHT 1979 -- Again, nothing to write home about (I haven't seen the restored version) The story about the people in the hospital has some creepy moments though.
SCREAMTIME 1986 - Pretty bad I recall despite having a story about a killer Punch doll.

The Uncanny (1977)
A little-known Canadian-British co-production. Saw it once a long time ago and remembered it being nothing special. Had a damn fine cast that included Peter Cushing, Donald Pleasence, Sammantha Eggar, and John Vernon.

Screamtime is definitely not good, but I like how original in its own weird way it is. There is something that just made it memorable. Killer garden gnomes maybe? I liked The Uncanny. Tales from the Quadead Zone is quite obscure, despite getting some reputation after original vhs releases were sold for few thousand dollars. It has been released on dvd since. Twisted Illusions, from 1985 - another shot on video movie. 49 votes on IMDb and no reviews. It has been released on dvd though.

The "Dream Home" segment was made into a feature length movie called "Psychosis" starring Charisma Carpenter. Added some titillation and more violence. Etc.

Tales of the Third Dimension (1983) [3-D] & Rock-A-Die Baby (1989)
The latter is on my watch list. Both are on YouTube.

Three Cases of Murder (1955).
I’ve written about this elsewhere here, but suffice it to say:
It’s made up of only three segments, and the last two are weak. I don’t remember a thing about second segment “You Killed Elizabeth,” and third segment “Lord Mountdrago” is a pretty typical horror fable only bolstered by Orson Welles’ ham acting.
First segment “In the Picture” (dir. Wendy Toye), however, is a masterpiece. I saw it as a child and was terrified, and it still sticks with me. I rewatched the segment a few years ago, and it still had the same effect—a sense of elegy, combined with that of falling into a very tricky nightmare. Even if you don’t watch the other segments, which might be advisable, the movie is worth seeking out just for “In the Picture.”
