Do you have an official date or is it just whenever?
Last Saturday in September, it's become a tradition to kick off the Halloween movie season with Vincent Price's 'Masque of the Red Death'.

I watched a few Halloweenish things as early as August, but September so far his not been packed Halloween viewing. I hope that will start this weekend.

Always October 1st. Then it's all horror movies for the month. Roughly 26 or 27 first time viewings, then about 17 or 18 rewatches.

I'm always watching horror off and on throughout the year, but usually around *this time* (gestures wildly) I start kicking into primarily horror and not much else until November.
