One is an actor and the other is a movie star.

Well Fraser survived and Johnson didn’t in Mummy 2 so I’m guessing Fraser. Lol.
Seriously though I really miss Fraser’s leading man status, wish he was still making a lot of films. He did some great ones, although I definitely wouldn’t say they were all great...

I definitely prefer Dwayne Johnson overall, but Brenan Fraser is a better actor.
Brendan Fraser has given far worse performances and far better performances than Dwayne Johnson.
Brendan Fraser needs the right director and to be cast correctly. Gods and Monsters stands out like a sore thumb, because the talent gap between Fraser and Mckellen is huge and it is very noticeable to me.
Brenda Fraser is a mediocre actor who has been well directed a handful of times. Dwayne Johnson isn't a very talented actor, but he sticks to what he is good at. This makes Fraser seem like a worse actor, but he is the better actor.
My main issue with Fraser is that he comes off like a doofus even when the character he is playing isn't suppose to be a doofus. The one exception is School Ties. He is much better at comedy than he is at drama.

The Rocks a good action lead due to his size and look. He’s not bad, but he’s never done anything that required much more than flexing.
Fraser is kind of irrelevant nowadays but he’s had a much more well rounded career. School Ties and With Honors stand out on the dramatic front.

The Rock is a good actor for what he is. In those Jumanji movies, he's basically playing a nebbish teenage Jew in one and a crusty grandpa in the other and pulls it off.
Still, Fraser is a little more legitimate. I thought he was quite good in Gods and Monsters.

Awww... I like Brendan Fraser so much. Not only is he super yummy-hunky, but he comes across as genuinely humble and sweet-natured. I thought he was okay in "Gods and Monsters". I think he is very good at comedy.

Same here. Also Fraser did choose a greater variety of projects, but Dwayne Johnson is naturally charismatic so when he choices something more low-key he's still good. Even in something bad like Snitch.
