I had one a few weeks ago. I had to wear a mask since it was done in a grocery store pharmacy.

We're getting ours in October. Pharmacists is holding two of them for us. After six months, it starts to lose its effectiveness, so we want to ensure we have it for the whole flu season.

You're a brave lady, Madame E! I never get flu shots, because I'm an overgrown baby with an intense dislike of injections.

I got mine on Wednesday. The soreness in my arm where I received the injection is mostly gone now. This is the first time my arm isn't sore alpha! The man giving the injection said relax your arm and DONE! I've never had such a good shot. My husband , daughter and I all are doing much better than ever! No pain. No swelling My husband keeps saying 'I don't think he gave the shot' it doesn't hurt. Hope your arm is all better soon!

You're a brave lady, Madame E! I never get flu shots, because I'm an overgrown baby with an intense dislike of injections. My daughter has so many blood tests/exams. I can't be weak about it. But I was just like you! I remember telling friends in 4th grade: I will never marry because you have to get a blood test! Lol

I hope not to return for a year!

Catman got his yesterday as well. Every little bit helps. You and I need to keep well and not infect loved ones. (Others will read this and think 'what am I chopped liver?' But we especially must be vigilant!)

Lol Is that a thing in California? Thank goodness there was no blood test required here in the sunshine state.

I've just come to expect 2-3 days of soreness in my arm after getting a flu shot. I figure if that's the worst of it, then it's worth it to be vaccinated. Thanks for the well wishes!

I usually have that. I know exactly what it is. And if you bump a doorway you feel it. This is the first time I didn't have it. I agree with you: totally worth it! My paternal grandparents died in the flu epidemic 1918-1920. I get my shot religiously!

So confusing.
