His style is a little too unconventional for something like that.

Sure, why not? They should continue the trend of hiring these guys that cut their teeth with horror movies.

I would love for that to happen. He made Guardians of the Galaxy a thing and if he can do that he can turn DC around and get it on the right track.

Anything's better than Snyder. Who is a friend of Gunn's and is very likely looking to come back.

Batman v Superman was supposed to be an Avengers level success. Instead it had a 69% drop in its second weekend. AT&T would have to be completely incompetent to overlook that.

AT&T would have to be completely incompetent to overlook that. Given that they have decided to allow Zack Snyder to complete his version of Justice League and are rumored to want him back for more movies...They don't give a damn about the 69% box office drop of BvS' second weekend. They care about what's trending online and looking at streaming potentials in the near future - you can't blame them given that a lot of movie theatres are closed till COVID-19 settles down, which may be a while.

No. James Gunn movies are good in small doses but it will quickly wear you thin if you get too much of it. Heck, even in GOTG2 I was already disappointed even though I loved the first GOTG.

Great, so we can expect Disney own DC soon. Brilliant.

Great, so we can expect Disney own DC soon. Brilliant. AT&T has more than enough moolah to compete against Disney, they don't even need DC to satisfy their financial needs they have enough corporate power to stay on top for a very long time. And yes, streaming potential is big right now, most movie theatres are closed and the intention of the Snyder Cut is to have it be released as a mini-series to help boost interest for HBO Max.

Maybe it’ll be a solo movie about B’wana Beast. TEXT: During Screen Rant’s recent interview with Gunn, he teased that the next DC movie he worked on would be something completely unexpected. The comment came up after he was asked if there were any other corners of the DC universe he would like to explore, to which he promptly said “Yes.” When asked for hints for what that would be, he replied with, "No. It's not what anybody would expect, I'll tell you that much." screenrant.com/james-gunn-dc-movie-next-what-response/

I'd love to see an R-rated Wonder Woman.

After seeing the new film I'd be all for a Suicide Squad Universe separate from DCEU with Gunn at the helm. I may of course change my mind if Peacemaker turns out to be shite.
