Halloween Prince of Darkness Escape From New York You Only Live Twice I'm frankly disturbed that his tour-de-force performance in the timeless classic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was absent from this list.

The tour-de-force comment sounded like sarcasm to me. Actually, I get what you mean by guilty pleasure. That movie is so 70s, it’s kind of fascinating to watch in a way. I actually liked it as a kid. Not sure I’d feel the same way about it if I rewatched now as an adult, but who knows.

I did just watch the Steve Martin scene right now while looking for a Donald Pleasence scene on Youtube. The scene is quite good and Steve Martin is awesome in the scene. That is not sarcasm btw. I might have to watch this movie. I don't care for Yellow Submarine, so that kind of put me off of watching their other movies. The songs in the movie are terrific, but the movie itself is dumb.

The Beatles are not actually in it, just their songs. Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees are in their place. (Just a heads-up, in case you didn’t already know.)

The Sgt. Pepper's movie isn't technically a Beatles movie, because they weren't involved in it. All their songs are covered by other people in that one.

Honestly, most of the covers were actually pretty good. Earth, Wind & Fire really stood out to me with their funky rendition of "Got to Get You Into My Life".

1. "Halloween" 2. "Any Old Port in a Storm" - A really great episode from the 3rd season of COLUMBO -- Pleasance makes a charming killer! 3. "Halloween 2" - I SHOT HIM SIX TIMES!
edit: I also liked him very much in "Phenomena" I hadn't caught that choice first time around. It's my favorite Argento flick and that is due, in part, to the delightful and even heartwarming dynamic between Pleasance and Jennifer Connelly. pic from the Columbo episode

His Columbo episode is not on there. Cannot vote in good conscience.
