This will make the DCEU even more convoluted but yet I'm all in if that happens. Cast Matt Damon as Hush. That'd be awesome.

If there is a good potential to make a lot of money, then they may give him what he wants. If not now due to Pattinson's film, then it's possible down the line for the future.

They already gave him control and he said he couldn't figure out the script. I'm not against this though. I know he's a great director, so I know how good this could be.

I'd much rather see this than the Pattinson Batman. We've had enough origin stories already.

“Just pulverizing bad people” ?? Because Pattinson hasn’t done that already (in a 2 minute trailer)?
Pattinson’s Batman literally beating a dude to what I’d assume is within an inch of his life is not “pulverizing” enough for you?
I’m not saying this is you, but some people just want to hate the new Batman because it’s Pattinson in the role and they only see his Twilight side. He’s so much more than that. He’s one of my favorite actors working today.

If not that, then at least his incredible performance in Good Time should convince anyone who calls themselves a fan of movies. I suppose a more specific critique of Pattinson is that he’s not manly enough or some such nonsense. Look at the wit, grit, and heroism of his character in Tenet (played to perfection) and that’s all you need to know he can pull off being Batman.

The Matt Reeves movie isn't intended as an origin story though. It's not? I thought it looked like one from the teaser. It's apparently set during Batman's second year on the job. So he's still relatively new to the scene, but it's not focusing on his origins.

Look what WB did to Snyder’s BvS and JL. Look what they did to Ayer’s Suicide Squad. They were interfering with Ben’s script. He didn’t have full creative control. He couldn’t figure out the script because they were saying to him “This is what you have to do.” And he was trying to rewrite and make it make sense until he just gave up and quit. But to save face publicly so he could keep working for WB, he said what he had to.

Ben is 6’4” and 240 lbs. he looks so big and brutal. Old and just doesn’t give a *bleep*... like the “The Dark Knight Returns”. That’s what I want to see. An older Batman who is grizzled and battle weary. Been through something. It could lead to a Batman Beyond story perhaps.

How many Batman films do we need? At the moment, this would bring it up to two separate films if true. Plus the appearance of both Affleck and Michael Keaton in the Flash movie. Meanwhile, Clark Kent is M. I. A.
